You spend two to ten hours designing one headstone.

Multiple meetings with the family. Paper order forms. Then the proof comes back from the monument company wrong, and you start again. Remember Them does it with the family in about ten minutes.

Three days free — long enough to recreate the last three memorials you sold and see how close it gets. $150 a month after that on a six-month term, or $350 month to month with no commitment.

The difference

The same memorial, two ways.

How it works now

2–10 hrs

  • A catalogue of hundreds of options, handed to someone who buried their mother yesterday
  • Three or four meetings before anything is decided
  • Order forms filled by hand, then faxed
  • Revisions when the proof comes back wrong
  • A counselor's commission, on every single one

With Remember Them

~10 min

  • The family talks about the person. Ten taps, and they have three memorials.
  • One sitting, at your desk or on a tablet
  • The order form fills itself, priced from your supplier's own sheet
  • They see it before it's cut, so the proof comes back right
  • Send a link so relatives out of state can look together

How it works

It asks about the person, not the product.

A thick catalogue isn't a service — it's the reason families can't decide. So the software does the narrowing instead of asking the family to do it.

  1. They tell you about them

"She fed everyone who walked through the door." That's enough to start.

  2. It asks two more things

The questions a good interviewer would ask. What did their hands look like?

  3. It narrows the options

One suggestion at a time. Yes, maybe, or no — with the reason attached.

  4. Three memorials come back

Real granite, real sizes, priced from your supplier's sheet. Then the order form.

Walk through it Use someone you knew. It works better.

What it changes

Three things, in order of what you'll notice.

Your hours back

The ten hours you spend on a headstone are hours you're not spending on the parts of the business only you can do.

A family that isn't overwhelmed

They leave having decided, instead of leaving with a catalogue and a knot in their stomach. That's the visit they'll tell people about.

Larger sales

When families can actually see the options, they choose more of them. You already know this — it's why you show samples rather than a price list.

The question everyone asks

Whose information is this, and where does it go?

Short answer: it stays yours.

  • Each funeral home sees only its own families. Your neighbour down the road cannot see your orders, your prices, or what you're billed.
  • Your counselors see the orders they're working on. Nothing else.
  • Families see their own memorial and nothing about your business.
  • That separation is enforced by the database itself, not by the screens — so it holds even if someone goes looking.
  • What a family writes about the person is never sold, never used for advertising, and never sent anywhere raw. Identifying details are stripped before anything leaves.

Your first three days

Don’t evaluate it. Use it on something you already know the answer to.

Most software trials fail because nobody knows what to do with them. Here is exactly what to do with this one — it takes about half an hour, and you don’t need a family in the building.

Start here

Recreate your last three memorials.

Pull the last three markers you sold. Run each one through as if the family were sitting there — the same stories, the same person — and see what comes back.

Why this one first: you already know what those families chose and what you charged. It is the only honest test there is. Either the software lands near the memorial you actually sold, or it finds something better that you would have shown them if there had been time. Both answers tell you something. A blank demo tells you nothing.

Then this

Design one for someone you loved.

Your father. Your grandmother. Yourself, if you would rather. Answer the questions honestly, the way a family would.

Why it matters: this is the only way to find out whether the interview actually works. Recreating a sale tests the pricing and the product list. Designing for someone you knew tests the part that has to earn a grieving family’s trust — and you will know within two questions whether it does.

Start the trial and try it No family required. Half an hour is enough to decide.

The right-hand column applies if you carry professional liability cover of $1M per claim and $2M aggregate. The share is charged on what you charge the family — never on taxes, cemetery opening and closing, foundation or permit fees, or third-party shipping billed at cost.

The share falls as your volume rises. We only do well when you sell more, which is the point — it keeps our work pointed at helping families decide rather than at selling you features.

Before you start

Straight answers.

Three days isn’t long. What can I actually do in it?

Enough, if you don’t wait for a family. Recreate the last three memorials you sold — you already know what those families chose, so you can judge the result honestly — then design one for someone you loved. That is about half an hour, and it answers the question better than a walkthrough would.

If you need longer because you’re waiting on a particular family, email me and I’ll extend it. I would rather you try it properly than decide against it because the calendar was awkward.

Do I have to change suppliers?

No. It works from the price lists you already use and fills in the order forms your monument companies already send you. It sits on top of the relationships you have, and you can upload a new price list yourself whenever one changes.

What happens to my family service counselor?

They stay in the room. The software doesn’t sell — it removes the part of their job that was paperwork and revisions. What’s left is the part they’re actually good at, and they get to do more of it.

Will my staff be able to use it?

A family reaches a finished design in ten clicks or fewer, and can always go back and choose differently. If it needed a training day it would have failed. Nothing to install — it runs in the browser you already have, on a desk or a tablet.

Why a share of the sale on top of the subscription?

It ties what I earn to what you sell. The subscription keeps the software running; the share means I only do well when orders are actually going through it. It falls as your volume rises, so the homes using it most pay the least on each one.

Can I cancel?

On the $350 month-to-month rate, any month, with nothing owed. On the discounted $150 partner rate you have committed to six months, and leaving early recaptures the discount — a flat $200, however many months you had it. Cancel during the three days and you are not charged at all.

Who's behind it

Built by someone who has sold headstones since 2008.

I've sat at the table for this conversation more times than I can count, and managed the cemeteries where the stones end up. The software exists because I know exactly where those ten hours go — and that families decide more confidently when they can see clearly.

Show them. Don’t ask them to imagine.

You already have three memorials to test it on.

The last three you sold. Run them through tonight and you will know by morning whether this belongs in your arrangement room.
